The Owatonna Foundation exists solely  for the betterment of Owatonna. As a community foundation, it must build an endowment fund that meets emerging and changing community needs. Our board of trustees has the responsibility to provide vision for the application of these funds so that the donor's investment is maximized for the benefit of the community.  

Owatonna is one of the few community foundations around the country. Though these cities are very different in size and location, they share one goal - to improve the quality of life for present and future generations - so that a spirit of belonging and sharing continues to pass from our forefathers to our grandchildren.
